FMS

injury prevention...

The Functional Movement Screen is a 7 part assessment that allows me to see how you move on a daily basis. It exposes faulty movement patterns and helps us to understand the chance of injury through exercise. After taking you through a movement screen we add corrective exercises to your program so that we can “First move well, then move often."

STRENGTH TRAINING

a healthy body is a strong body...

The focus of our strength will come in four main components. Push, pull, knee dominant, and hip dominant. The focus of "movements over muscles" allows us to build a strong foundation.

AEROBIC TRAINING

move it or lose it...

The use of simple and effective exercises to elevate heart rate and increase the use of your lungs allows you to move and breathe easier throughout the day. The cardiovascular system is constantly trying to renew oxygen levels, a vital part of a healthy body and mind.

MOVEMENT INTEGRATION (AIM)

a re-introduction to movement...

Through use of visual aid we can dissect our gait cycle and truly understand what joints and bones are moving in three dimensions. After understanding movement patterns through health history, postural analysis and gait examination we start to integrate missing movements (usually due to injury) to create a more balanced body.

DEEP MUSCLE STIMULATION

oh so good...

For optimal strength and endurance we need optimal blood flow. Through use of a foam roller or hand held DMS (Theragun, Hypervolt), we get the blood flowing through parts of the body that may be sore, stiff or lacking proper nutrients brought through the blood. You'll end up saying, "can we do this for the full hour".

CYCLING

the good kind of speed...

A safe, fun way to exercise. If you are just starting out or have been riding for years, let's take your cycling abilities to the next level.
(Bicycle and safety equipment not provided).
